 | President of the Board, Joe Fernandez, PGA, Diablo Creek Golf Course, GM Joe Fernandez has been a PGA class A member for 32 years, and has been in the golf industry for 50 years. He is the Director of Golf at Diablo Creek golf course and has been in that position for 26 years. Was a regional and national trainer for the First Tee for 5 years. He helped start the program in Shanghai China as a curriculum provider for First Tee. And is on the programs board of directors in Shanghai. Joe has served as the original program director for our chapter, & spent 4 years as our Executive Director. |
 | Vice President of the Board, Ron Parish, PGA. General Manager – Lone Tree Golf Course & Event Center Serves as General Manager/Director of Golf at Lone Tree Golf & Event Center, a First Tee Contra Costa facility. He is a 29-year PGA Member with a passion for public golf. Ron started as a First Tee Coach in 2007 and joined the Chapter Board a year later. Ron’s favorite First Tee concept which he appreciates daily is “Strength through Diversity”. |
 | Ron Saca, Retired Ron Saca is a retired resident of Contra Costa County and a member of the First Tee Board since 2014. He spent his career in the steel industry with a significant emphasis in construction products. Over the past years, Ron and his family have continued to support The First Tee in many ways and help carry out our mission to support our local youth community. |
 | Dr. Ken Soult, Retired Dr. Soult joined Round Hill Country Club in the 1980s, and remains a member today. For approximately 8 years, he was the coach for the Round Hill Country Club Junior Golf Program. After 45 years in general dental practice, Dr. Soult retired in 2017, and became a member of the Board of Directors of First Tee – Contra Costa in 2018. |
 | Brandon Garcelon, Director of Golf Operations, Boundary Oak Golf Course Brandon is an East Bay native with over 25 years of experience in athletics and administration. A graduate of De La Salle High School and Saint Mary’s College, Brandon is currently the Director of Golf Course Operations at Boundary Oak Golf Course in Walnut Creek. Currently serving in his 5th year as a board member, Brandon enjoys assisting with the numerous fundraising events and soliciting sponsorships for the chapter. |
 | Ed Guy, Nationstaff Ed Guy is a founding partner of NationStaff a fintech recruiting firm. Originally from the South, He started his first tech company at the age of 22, while teaching at NYU, He moved to Bay area in 2014. Father of twin golfers! Started with First Tee as an Assistant Coach, then Lead Coach and Board Member since 2021. |
 | Victoria Leon, Vice President, Hyde Park Venture Partners, First Tee Contra Costa Alumna Victoria started as a participant in First Tee – Contra Costa at Lone Tree Golf Course when she was 11 years old. She grew up through the program and enjoyed the breadth of opportunities, both personally and professionally, it provided. These include the leadership academy in Kansas, starting her first company thanks to First Tee’s partnership with Youth Venture, and playing in the First Tee Open at Pebble Beach in 2010. Since then, Victoria has volunteered as an assistant coach and now serves as the Programming Committee Chair for the First Tee – Contra Costa Board of Directors. |
 | Jacob Ricafrente – Account Executive at Gong. Like other members of the board, Jacob was a participant in First Tee – Contra Costa since the age of 4 and has grown up in the program. Jacob has volunteered for the chapter since then and now serves on the Board of Directors. Jacob grew up playing competitive golf in and around Diablo Creek and Boundary Oak golf course and was a former student of both Joe Fernandez and Jamie Maddox. |
 | Drake Mather – Membership Director, Contra Costa Country Club Drake was a participant of The First Tee of Contra Costa at the age of 5 years old and has grown up in the program. Drake has volunteered and coached from the age of 18 for the chapter. Now serving on the Board of Directors as Secretary. Drake grew up playing competition golf and around Lone Tree Golf Course; fun fact Ron Parish has been his coach since the age of 11 years old. |
 | Matt Sanregret – Insperity Matt has lived and worked in Contra Costa County since 1998. He has been a youth coach for several organizations including Little League Baseball, CYO Basketball, Youth Soccer, Volleyball and most recently with First Tee – Contra Costa. Matt’s business expertise is in the area of small business administration including HR Compliance, Payroll, Employee Benefits, and HR Technology. |
 | Lee Reamy – Chief Financial Officer of Cornerstone Research Lee and his four children are avid golfers. His daughter is currently a participant in First Tee Contra Costa and one of his sons previously coached First Tee in Ohio. Lee joined the First Tee – Contra Costa Board of Directors in 2024 |
 | Corey Criner – Comcast & PGA Teaching Professional at Lone Tree Golf & Event Center Corey played Highschool and competitive Junior Golf before playing in college and the mini tours professionally. Corey graduated and was elected into the PGA in 2003. As General Manager and Head Golf Professional he assisted in developing the First Tee of Contra Costa and joined the Board of Directors in 2013. Interesting info: Corey has known Joe Fernandez for 44 years, considering him an mentor and 2nd father. |
