Hello First Tee Contra Costa Family, Friends, Staff, and Supporters:
It is an honor and privilege to be your next Executive Director. As a board member for the past several years, I have seen the hard work, dedication, and sacrifice that has gone into keeping our great program going for the past 20 years and providing opportunity to over 25,000 youth from around Contra Costa County.
A lot has changed over that time and with change comes new opportunity, new ways of doing things, and new challenges. As the new Executive Director at First Tee – Contra Costa, it is my responsibility to not only ensure we are doing things the right way, and fulfilling our mission, but to also ensure that we are planning for the future.
In the coming weeks and months, you will see new events, and new fundraising campaigns, along with new opportunities to get involved or stay involved. Our next event will be on Friday, September 6th, at Lone Tree Golf Course for our annual “A Day of Golf” Fundraiser. We currently have several sponsorships available along with a few open foursomes. We are also putting out a call for additional raffle and auction items. As mentioned earlier, we are in our 20th year and have supported roughly 25,000 participants in that time. We currently have a online campaign celebrating that milestone, Celebrating our Past, Celebrating our Future. Our goal is to raise $1 for every participant who has been a part of our program.
